Dana Jennings and a close colleague have created a grassroots activist group of women in Wake County. Politica NC is a community of progressive women activists engaged in year-round voter education and advocacy. From 2008 – 2012, Dana was the CEO of the North Carolina Center for Women in Public Service. Previously, Dana owned and operated Jennings Earnhardt, LLC, a leadership consulting and coaching business. Beginning as a frontline coworker at Kinko’s Copies, she ultimately owned 11 Kinko’s in NC. She was President of Kinko’s of NC from 1984 – 1996. She has been an officer or director for many corporate, professional, and nonprofit organizations, and currently is serving on the boards of Read and Feed and the Women’s Forum of North Carolina. Dana has a B. A. in Political Science and English (Georgia) and a Masters of Liberal Studies (Duke). She lives in Raleigh with her husband, Tom Earnhardt. Their son, Izaak, attends UNC-CH, and daughter Rachel is at Wesleyan University in CT.
