The Lead: April

April 3, 2020

WOMEN IN POLITICS TOWN HALL

We are admittedly disappointed that we won’t be able to come together later in April for our Campaign Kickoff. It is one of our favorite events where the Lillian’s List Sisterhood gets to meet and hear from our Featured Candidates all in one place. Since we are unable to host that event this month, we are bringing you a virtual Women in Politics Town Hall on April 27th at 7PM.

Get your tickets to this candid conversation today!

Joining us on the call will be Rep. Yvonne Holley our candidate for Lt. Governor, State Auditor Beth Wood, and candidates for NC House Rep. Sydney Batch, Rep. Rachel Hunt, and Durham City Councilwoman Vernetta Alston.

TRAININGS AT HOME

Before the COVID-19 crisis hit, we had planned a series of our Help Her Win volunteer trainings across the state. We are still planning to train volunteers in how to help a candidate run a strong modern campaign, but now from the comfort of home. Candidates and their managers are still hard at work, we need to make sure the right leaders are in charge.

We’ve developed a webinar training series, all of them an hour long, throughout the month of April.

Follow the links below to sign up for whichever ones interest you. These trainings are open to everyone who wants to help on a progressive campaign.
