Diane Ford is an Attorney in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with a steadfast commitment to addressing systemic and structural racism. Her journey, rooted in a passion for justice and community empowerment, has shaped her into a dynamic force for positive change.
Diane is a double alumna of Campbell University. Her love for education led her to earn both her bachelor’s degree in economics and her Juris Doctorate from Campbell Law School. During her legal education, Diane showcased her dedication to public service by serving as a legal extern for entities such as the North Carolina Community College System, Legal Aid of North Carolina, and the City of Durham’s Attorney’s Office.
Driven by a commitment to dismantling systemic racism, Diane has actively contributed to both local and national nonprofits. In these roles, she played a pivotal part in empowering communities through racial equity training and facilitating wealth-building opportunities.
Diane’s advocacy extends beyond the legal realm. She fearlessly engages in “good trouble” by delivering impactful lectures on the alarming Black Maternal Mortality rates, shedding light on a critical issue that demands urgent attention. Additionally, she hosts estate planning workshops, sharing valuable insights on wealth-building and financial security.
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Diane has found her home in North Carolina. She remains deeply connected to her community and is determined to give back. With plans to establish a consulting firm, Diane aspires to channel her expertise into serving the needs of her community, ensuring that her legal prowess becomes a powerful tool for positive transformation.
